Our History
We are the Lazy J Farm, but to our family we are just "The Farm". The generations before us purchased the Farm in 1914. They grew crops, raised cattle and hogs and then a dairy business. The "Lazy J" brand was registered by the second generation only son who was our father, grandfather and great grandfather, Papa Jack.
Our Philosophy
Our current generation has reinvested in the farm with a new cow-calf program committed to raising the best beef product in the market. We look forward to learning from the best in the business , contributing back to the community and being responsible stewards of our land and environment.
Our Herd
We are committed to the Red Angus breed for our program. We have both commercial, 1B and pure bred RAAA registered cows and calves that come from the finest stock in the country. Our herd grazes in our pastures located in the famed LBJ national grass lands with fresh water supply from spring wells.
